Membership Information

Become a member of the Minnesota Hoarding Task Force and help us advance awareness, education, and support for those affected by hoarding disorder across Minnesota.

Membership Period

The membership year runs from May 1 – April 30.
You may join at any time during the year — the fee is not prorated.
The annual renewal for everyone is May 1.

Types of Membership

Choose the Right Membership for You

Regular Membership

$25 – $100

A regular member completes and submits an annual membership form and pays their annual dues. Regular Members can vote on decisions voted for by the group and are able to serve on the Executive Board.

Voting rights included

Associate Membership

$0

An associate member completes and submits the annual membership form but does not pay annual dues. Associate Members do not have a vote on decisions voted on by the group.

No voting rights

Board Membership

By nomination

For board membership, a member must be nominated or self-nominated during the end of the fiscal quarter when the present Director's 2-year term expires. Election occurs at a regular meeting; the new Director must receive a majority vote with a quorum as determined by the by-laws.

Network with fellow members and community partners
Regularly attend monthly meetings (at least 4 per year requested)
Use person-first language and maintain confidentiality of discussions at meetings
